Noumena is a Melodic Death Metal band from Ähtäri, Finland, formed in 1998. The band’s name comes from the word noumenon, a philosophical term used by Immanuel Kant. It consists of five members: vocalist Antti Haapanen, guitarists Tuukka Tuomela and Ville Lamminaho, bass guitarist Hannu Savolainen and drummer Ilkka Unnbom. The roots of Noumena’s music may be found in the Scandinavian death metal tradition and 1980s heavy metal.

Månegarm is a Swedish Viking/black metal band from Norrtälje. The band’s name comes from Mánagarmr, a wolf in Norse mythology. The band started from the ideas of Svenne Rosendal, Jonas Almquist, and Pierre Wilhelmsson in 1995. After securing another guitarist in Mårten Matsson and a drummer in Erik Grawsiö, they began rehearsing as “Antikrist”. By 1996, they had changed their name to Månegarm, after the wolf of Norse legend, apt for a band concentrating on Viking metal, and early that year, they began recording first demo Vargaresa (Wolf’s Journey) in 1996.

Blut aus Nord is a black metal band from Mondeville, France. The band started in 1994 as a solo project, with Vindsval playing all instruments under the name Vlad. The next three albums were recorded with the aid of session musicians: It is only recently that the group has had any permanent members apart from Vindsval (who also played in The Eye and Children Of Mäani).

Callenish Circle was a melodic death metal band from the Netherlands. Callenish Circle was formed in 1992 by vocalist Patrick Savelkoul and guitar player Jos Evers. Some line-up changes followed but it wasn’t until early 1994 when the first serious line-up was gathered. From that 1994 line-up Ronny Tyssen (guitars), Gavin Harte (drums) and Patrick Savelkoul (vocals) formed the core of the band. They broke up in 2007 due to ongoing problems with their label and distributors.

Joni Snoro decided to form a folk metal band in autumn 2009. He asked Joonas Nislin to play drums. The band also got a guitarist and bassist. He himself played guitar and sang. Skiltron is an Argentinian folk metal band with power, heavy and celtic influences. A lot of their lyrics are based on Scottish history. The roots of this band date back to the year 1997, when Emilio and Matias formed a 4 member band named Century. This project became of lesser importance when both joined Feanor, and was finally postponed in 2001 when the two musicians became full members of this band. The year 2004 saw the re-awakening and continuation of the project and furthermore a name change from Century to Skiltron.
