This is a personal request from the band. A band to be followed.

Drakum is a folk-metal band from Barcelona (Spain). The band started in December 2009, after a year looking for the right members. During the year 2010 we have been immersed in the composition of songs and recording our first demo.
Now in 2011 we are promoting the demo, starting doing live shows and looking for a label willing to bet on us and help us spread our music around the world.
The band influences go from folking bands as Korpiklaani, Eluveitie to death metal ones as Finntroll, Amon Amarth and some power metal bands such Alestorm, however the aim of Drakum is to do its folk-death metal own style.

Iskald represents ice cold and crystal clear black metal from the land of the midnight sun. Iskald shines like aurora borealis on the northern black metal hemisphere. Hailing from Sortland in the northern part of Norway, Iskald have crafted out what will most likely stand out as a future classic within the genre.

Fueled by the devotion to Norse mythology and the inspiration of arctic surroundings, founding members Simon Larsen and Aage Krekling, started up their black metal project, Iskald in early 2005.

Hibria is a Heavy Metal band from Brazil known for their technicality and speed. Their debut Defying the Rules was released in 2004. The band cites traditional metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest and Megadeth as influences, and also from more progressive groups such as Dream Theater.

Falkenbach is a one-man German folk/viking metal project created by Vratyas Vakyas (literally, “The Searching Wanderer”). Vratyas Vakyas lived in Iceland for a considerable time, but now lives in Düsseldorf, Germany again. Throughout the band’s lifetime, Falkenbach has progressed from a rawer, more “black” sound towards viking-influenced folk metal with mainly clean vocals. Vakyas’ music is nowdays accompanied by session musicians.

Belphegor is an Austrian death/black metal band from Salzburg, originally formed in 1991 under the name Betrayer before changing their name in 1993. They are named after the demon Belphegor. Belphegor was founded as Betrayer in 1991 by vocalist and bassist Maxx, guitarists Helmuth and Sigurd, and drummer Chris. The band released their first demo Kruzifixion in April 1991, and Unborn Blood later on.

Triptykon is the most recent musical project of Thomas Gabriel Fischer, founding member of the pioneering heavy metal bands Hellhammer, Celtic Frost and Apollyon Sun. Fischer announced his departure from Celtic Frost in May 2008 and shortly afterwards revealed that his new project would be entitled Triptykon. Fischer commented: “Triptykon will sound as close to Celtic Frost as is humanly possible, and the album I am working on will feature all the material I envisioned for the successor to Celtic Frost’s Monotheist.

Korpiklaani is a folk metal band from Lahti, Finland formed in 2003. Korpiklaani is the new name of the band previously called Shaman, that was formed by Jonne Järvelä who still remains the mastermind of Korpiklaani. Whilst Shaman recorded songs in the original Saami language, Korpiklaani recorded most songs in English at first, and mostly Finnish lyrics on their most recent albums.
