It all started in Norrtälje, Sweden, 1995. Three old friends began to talk about starting a band. They had all played or growled in different constellations before. The main direction with this project, was to play as fast and primitive metal as possible, and the lyrics had to be in Swedish. No question about that. To get the massive and raw sound they wanted, they only had to find a second guitarist and of course a drummer.
This is their seventh album.

We are following this band since their very first demo and this year they released their first full-lenght album, great band, great german style.

In Nordic Mythology Strydegor is a warrior who was chosen by Odin to guard the mead.

Immortal is a prominent black metal band from Bergen, Norway. The group began in 1989 as "Amputation", a death metal band. Immortal’s early full-length releases were of a traditional, yet complex black metal style, but their acclaimed album "At the Heart of the Winter" saw the band begin to experiment with a fusion of black metal and German thrash. The resulting sound was a style which characterized Immortal’s later works. Immortal has been influential to many modern metal artists. Immortal’s founders; Abbath and Demonaz, have attained a legendary status in the Scandinavian heavy metal scene.

Wodensthrone was formed in Winterfylleð of 2005, in the Sundered Lands of North Eastern England, by founding members Brunwulf, Wildeþrýð, Gerádwine, and Hréowsian. In these formative days, the clan’s sound was raw and primitive, but still hinted at a sense of sorrow, with lyrics focusing on the darker aspects of England’s history. However, by Eostremonað of 2006, the clan’s music had developed both technically and melodically, and so Æðelwalh was recruited on synths. It was at this point that Wodensthrone truly began to resemble their current incarnation, growing both musically and conceptually.
