Mumakil does officialy exist since 2004 - four grind freaks decided to create a new war machine. Jéjé (guitar, former Nostromo member) and Taverne (bass, former Knut member) were motivated to to play together a crushing and destroying grindcore - the idea was to play a really brutal and blasting death/grind in the vein of Terrorizer, Brutal Truth etc. Then Thomas (vocals) and Seb (drums) joined the crew.

Tristitia is a Swedish doom metal band formed in Halmstad, Sweden in 1992 by guitarist Luis B. Galvez. His devotion for Doom Metal and sorrowful melodies brought him to form the band with Death/Gothic style singer Thomas Karlsson and Harri Juvonen on bass. They recorded their first demo in April ’93 entitled ”Winds of Sacrifice”. In January ’94 they released their second demo ”Reminiscences of the Mourner”. The receiving of this demo was even better than ”Winds of Sacrifice” and gave Tristitia a record deal with the French label Holy Records.

Ghost Brigade is a five-piece metal band from Jyväskylä, Finland, formed in 2005. They have taken elements from Melodic Death Metal, Doom Metal into their music. Wille Naukkarinen (guitars): “In Ghost Brigade, selling albums is not what it’s about. It’s about the feeling I get when I wrote a new song, which I only get when I know the song is good enough. The metaphor for that is “the fire”. That explains the title of the album. We are guided by fire.” A quote on their website states (by date of the debut release) “there’s nothing above or below us, no written word wise enough, just notes that carry the silent fire.”

Empyrium started as a German symphonic folk doom metal band founded in 1994 by Markus Stock (mostly using the pseudonym Ulf Theodor Schwadorf) and Andreas Bach, but later Ulf T. Schwadorf separated from Andreas Bach and took Thomas Helm as his partner. Their first two albums, A Wintersunset and Songs of Moors and Misty Fields, can be considered doom metal with folk and symphonic influences. They combine harsh and operatic male vocals with deep slow guitar parts and atmospheric keys. Their music is heavy, dark and romantic.

Tenhi is a Finnish band formed in 1996, playing melancholic, neofolk music. The word tenhi is an old Finnish word meaning a village elder, wise old man or seer.
The music of Tenhi is minimalistic and dark. Usually, the rhythm instrument lines follow the customs of modern rock music. The melodical instruments and vocals are however very heavily folk-influenced. The basic instrumentarium of the band consists of acoustic guitar, bass and drums. Frequent additional instruments include piano, violin, viola and flute and less frequent didgeridoo, mouth harp, harmonium, cello, udu and synthesizer.

Fenris is a black metal band from the Netherlands. Fenris was founded in the first winter of 1997 by Bas Westdorp and Vasco. Shortly after that, Gilbert de Rooy joined the guys as a lead-singer. In May 1997 Paul van der Zouwen took his place on the drum seat and for the first time, the four guys formed a steady and complete band.

The year was 1995. Orey, being influenced by metal and inspired by Russian Paganism, began composing his own original lyrics and musical arrangements. And so, Pagan Reign was born. Orey created all the riffs and melodies by himself and later included them in the first album. For a long time he searched not only for talented musicians, but for musicians that held the same views as himself. In 1998, after a long search, along came Sloven, Pagan Reigns new drummer.

PSILOCYBE LARVAE was formed in January of 1996 by vocalist/guitarist Vitaly "Larv" Belobritsky in Vyborg. The first formation was involving also rhythm guitarist Denis Vinogradov, bassist Oleg Peshkichev with Eugene Ushakov on drums.
After the first demo "Liar" Psilocybe Larvae entered into professional studio in 2007 where the song called "Death Is Not the End" was recorded for "Russian Alternative Extreme Music" compilation released in 1998. Due to losing Eugene before recording, Ilya "Alan" Piyaev (Azeroth, Painful Memories) is supporting the group with a drum part.

Absu started in 1990 in Plano, TX (USA). Their musical style started with death metal but it soon evolved to black/thrash metal. Their lyrical content is mostly Celtic and Sumerian/Mesopotamian mythology. Proscriptor (vocals/drums) is, after the departure of both founding members Shaftiel (1991-2002) and Equitant Ifernain (1991-2002), the mastermind behind the band. With the album ‘Tara’, the band has completed a trilogy in which the first part is ‘The Third Storm of Cythraul’ and part two being ‘In the Eyes of Ioldanach’. It is based on old Celtic mythology.

The band Stormwarrior, hailing from Northern Germany, was founded in 1998 by Lars Ramcke (Vocals/ Guitar) and Andrè Schumann (Drums) and in the same year added Scott Bölter (Guitar) and Tim Zienert (Bass). Greatly inspired by the 80’s metal scene, especially from the Hamburg Metal godfathers like Helloween and Running Wild, Stormwarrior were able to lay down their first songs to tape in 1999.
