Hi guys, we proudly present our XIII OFFICIAL compilation for the blog. It was a difficult work to make this compilation due of the diverse styles on the albums we were going to use. After too much work, we finally show you our last compilation. We've mixed too many styles as Black Metal, Viking Metal, Melodic Death Metal, Power Metal, Folk Metal and some Folk and Neofolk. In addition, we wanted to remember a Metal band from La Rioja (Spain) whose keyboarder Toño died in 2006.

With this compilation we wanted to thank the contribution of this country, Germany, to the Metal scene, all these great bands maybe less known than others from Finland or Sweden, and also to all the fucking metal-heads who live there and the great fests organized. Even more Germany is also our main source of visitors and we have some friends there.

This is probably the hardest compilation we've ever made, there were so many great stuff that we had to take out some good bands, and even though it has two discs, so if you miss any band please don't blame us. In fact it's possible we make a second part of this compilation with the Black Metal german bands if you behave well... xD

So for all of you motherfuckers here it is, all Hail the German Pagan Metal!!

About the title of the compilation it refers to all the tribes (Saxons, Goths, Franks...) settled in a territory that romans called Germania, mainly actual Germany, what was one of the causes of the fall of the empire and lately extended over Europe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Germania

In a move which seeks to showcase their musical specialties, record labels such as Prophecy Productions will occasionally sell themselves to likely consumers by putting out a carefully selected compilation CD with the best of their bands’ repertoire. However, it’s rarely seen that these bands will be linked together by something other than genre or even icon tributes; which is where ‘Whom The Moon A Nightsong Sings‘ draws its own niche, to set itself apart from other label packages. Bringing musicians together under the aesthetic theme that the two-disc release’s title describes; it may be that this is one relatively small step for Prophecy and another step forward for creative integrity in the ocean of the current music industry.

This is maybe the Compilation which is most purely pagan metal. There are not Black Metal Bands, we decided to focus on the Folk and MDM bands. In previous compilations some of you asked for more Folk, and for us is perfect cause are the Folk bands what are the less known and harder to find and as always the point with this compilation is to promote what we think is good metal and not always well-known.

I love almost all songs on this compilation, and I hope you know bands as Varg, Minas Morgul, I, Kromlek and also Stormlord cause they are huge. And I hope you discover bands like Thiasos Dionysos with their surprising song, tell me if it sounds familiar to you ;). There are also beautiful songs with Fferyllt and Gravesmond.

We hope you enjoy this compilation and take note of these good bands we selected for you doing the dirt job.

Oh, and remember it is today 3 years ago when we disembarked and started to fulfill the web with the metal we like the most. 1133 Albums uploaded so far, and remember we are only two friends doing all the job, and previous a upload we listen and evaluate the quality of the album. We do not do free or easy post like other blogs, we investigate and discover quality bands for you. And of course we do unique compilations cause we dont just put the most popular bands of a style any song at any order like other blogs. We made compilations for experts but also for ppl only willing to discover bands.

For doing a compilation first of all we see the uploads of a certain period, listen all the albums again and choose the best ones, then a carefully listening of every album to pick the best song for us. After that discards. Then study the best order of the songs and finally the cover.

This is our blackest compilation, but as always there is some folk xD. I think this is fastest made compilation (as for my previous compilation you had to wait almost two months), I made this one in about 3 days, and spent almost 2 hours on choosing song order (I recommend listening songs in that order).I hope you will enjoy listening this compilation as I was enjoying making it. Again big thanks to Nordiko and hottercraft for they help with compilation. Also i noticed one thing... every time we release compilation it's someones birthday and there is no difference with this one. I tried to do it ''blackest I can'', so most of the songs are black metal, with some viking and folk songs. Song I like most in this comp is Manatark's song Spiral Swirls, but all songs are very good.

This is my first compilation, and if there are any ''beginners mistakes'' I hope you will forgive me. xD

As usual this is another original compilation by DamosFog, after her works of power metal 1, the 2 black metal compilations and the last: women of steel (All girl-bands) this one contains 14 great metal covers. I want to remark that my favorite is the track nº 7 "Loosing my religion" I love that cover :) and the bagpipes in track 2... uf i love bagpipes! also thanks for including norther final countdown. Curious the Abba version of Sinergy, well is better you listen to it. If you like this comp. its probably a 2nd version cause this is a bit selection between hundreds of covers. Also you could go to comments and name us any other version you love and probably you'll see it on the next compilation.

After too much time, Compilation V is released. I've been studying hard so I couldn't hear a lot of music or pay attention to make this compilation but now it's here for all of you!!

As I've done before and I'll do after, I'll try to make compilations with the "different" bands. Nördiko will include in his compilations the Black/Viking bands, and I'll try to make compilations mixing Melodeath, Black, Folk, even Power...

This compilation is a good example for this. You'll try bands from Alestorm to Darkthrone (for example). This compilation is better if you listen it in the correct order of the songs, believe me ;)

This is the biggest (in number of songs) compilation we've ever made, this one is the number six
corresponding with part of the february uploads. This time is probably the Blackest compilation, but as always there is place for viking and folk metal.
It has been a hard work, to make this, mostly of the bands are commonly unknown and i have to listen carefully their songs for long time.

Maybe some people would say they'd chosen different song, for all of them: Fuck you! This is my compilation, not yours or a easy to make comp. with all the famous bands. Anyway I said several times and write there that you could recommend me songs (and nobody told me any, thanks...)now is too late for that so stay in silence. Anyway I've never need others help, this wont be a exception.

The best songs for me are Kampfar - Ravenheart, i really love that song, and of course the mythical immortal theme also draugr is an excellent band, riger, vreid and diamond eyed princess aren't less.

As always my wish is that this comp will serve to let you know bands other way you've never hear. And if you like one song, try to download the full disc at least ;)

NORTHERN WARRIORS COMPILATION IV: DESERVING DEATH

Aqui esta la compilacion que incluye temas de la segunda parte de los discos subidos al blog en Enero de 2008. La intencion (mas bien, las intenciones) en esta compilacion eran dos y eran muy claras: hacer una compilacion de estilos variados y sobre todo que fuese una compilacion mas novedosa, es decir, no poner las canciones mas conocidas, explosivas y revientacuellos de todo el disco, sino canciones "menos conocidas" que demuestran que te has oido el disco en condiciones. A mi personalmente me encanta esta compilacion... quiza sea porque la he hecho yo, puede ser, pero lo novedoso de ella es lo que mas me gusta. Espero que la disfruteis tanto como yo ;)
