During Summer 2004, Amesoeurs was formed by Neige (also member of Alcest and Peste Noire), Audrey Sylvain and Fursy Teyssier with the purpose of creating music that reflects the dark side of the industrial era and modern civilization.
A few songs were immediately written and the band performed one gig. Shortly after, Fursy Teyssier decided to leave the band to go back to his studies. In April 2005, a first MCD entitled “Ruines Humaines” was recorded. The band sent it to a few labels but had to wait 2006 to see its release through German label Northern Silence Productions. Amesoeurs has worked with the photographer Isabelle Hanssen for the pictures of “Ruines Humaines” and the graphic designer Fursy Teyssier so as to create a visual environment which perfectly suits the music.

Valoracion personal: Recordar que esto no es un disco (LP) sino un EP. Teniendo en cuenta que es su primer EP la calidad de sonido es impresionante para lo que se suele esperar del primer EP de una banda. Realmente no considero a esta banda una banda de Black Metal, creo que basicamente es musica Shoegaze (tambien llama Dream Pop), pero la interpretan desde el punto de vista del Black Metal. Si lo ois detenidamente descubrireis que no es Black Metal. Es un disco interesante, probadlo.

Formed in November 1997 in a small town in eastern Ukraine as a side project of Thorgeir Berserk - vocal/bass/guitar (Eternal Mourning) and Svart - guitars (Dip in Feel) to play fast but melodious black metal. In late 1998 BALFOR recruited Hvedrung (guitars) and Holmgang (drums) in their main formations for recording first demo “Drevnost’, Gordost’, Proklyatie” containing four tracks: “Bitva Pri Klontarfe”, “Ludi Sval’be Fiorda”, “Grom” and ENSLAVED cover “Fenris”. Unfortunately this demo wasn’t released because of very low recording quality.
