Arcturus were an avant-garde metal band from Norway featuring many prominent members of the Norwegian black metal scene from bands such as Ulver, Dimmu Borgir, Borknagar, The Kovenant, Emperor, and Winds. Their earlier works were black metal with symphonic overtones, but with releases following their first, they adopted an avant-garde style with mainly clean vocals.

Skeletonwitch is a Blackened Thrash Metal band formed in 2003. The band formed in Athens, Ohio by Nate Garnette (Guitar), Scott Hedrick (Guitar),Chance Garnette (Vocals), Evan Linger (Bass), Derick Nau (Drums). They released their first full-length album “At One With The Shadows” in 2004 by Shredded Records. Which blended black metal with Thrash metal and elements of harsh death metal swell, into their straight-forward dimension music style.

The band was founded by Mordred and Chainerdog. Grendel split-up in 2008, but reformed once again with Mordred temporarily kicked out.
Grendel is one of three antagonists in the Anglo-Saxon epic poem Beowulf.
Grendel is a Viking, Black Metal band from Cosio Valtellino, Italy. They have released 2 LP's so far: "Beowulf" (2005) and "Dragon's Awakening" (2010).

It all started around the year 2000 when Ettore with a bunch of friends/musicians composed and recorded into his own home-studio the first self-produced opus entitled “Nebularium”: a brilliant piece of progressive and atmospheric extreme music. Despite lacking a massive distribution and live activity (due to line-up problems) the record received an amazing feedback from both media and metal fans and allowed the band to sign a contract for the worldwide distribution of the next two albums.

KIUAS was formed in the year 2000, these Finnish hybrid metallers mix clean vocals with death metal, sprinkled with an amount of heroic power on top. Kiuas’s self-financed pre-Spinefarm releases “The Discipline of Steel” 2002 and “Born Under the Northern Lights” 2003 got rave reviews upon their release, and with those releases’ success the band was briefly signed onto the now defunct Rage of Achilles (UK).

Bathory was the project of Tomas “Ace” Börje Forsberg (better known as Quorthon, 17th February 1966 - 3rd June 2004). Bathory was a landmark band in the history of black metal. Most second wave black metal bands were influenced by the ground work laid down by Bathory. The name was taken from Erzsébet (Elizabeth) Báthory, a 17th century Hungarian noblewoman who lived in Csejte (now Čachtice, Slovakia), accused of torturing and killing hundreds of girls and young women.
