The music of Mar de Grises invites to a desolate trip through the endless movement of our lives. Bitter feelings and the diverse forms in which the man expresses them are intermingled with the most various musical elements to create an intense sonorous film, where moving emotions emerge from overwhelming atmospheres. This is somewhat of a surprise, the up-and-coming Finnish doom label Firebox signing a Chilean band with an original take on doom metal.

Torture Squad is a Brazilian thrash metal/death metal band formed by bassist and vocalist Marcelo Dirceu, guitarrist Cristiano Fusco and drummer Marcelo Fusco in 1990. The band have released four studio albums and one live album. The band released a new album in 2008 entitled “Hellbound”.

Celesty was formed 1998 in town called Seinäjoki, Finland. First line-up was totally different than today, only bassist Ari Katajamäki (b. 1979) and drummer Jere Luokkamäki (b. 1979) are left from those days. In the year 1999 Tapani Kangas (b. 1980) joined the band as a guitar player and Celesty made their first demo in summer 1999, which was recorded only for themselves and wasn’t released or sent anywhere. In a short time after that Ari, Jere and Tapani noticed the potential of the band, but knew that something had to be done, so they decided to sign off some members and they started to replaced them with new ones.

Dantalion was formed in Vigo, Spain, in mid 2004 by Naemoth, Neztja and Zeukram after the split-up of their previous band, completing the line-up with Maiestas. They began to write their first songs and playing their first live shows, with a good response from the audience. In mid 2005 Dantalion hits Oceano Studios to make their first recording, “When the Ravens Fly Over Me”, with 7 songs and a total time over 46 min. They extract three songs from this recording to conform a promo in order to present it to labels and media worldwide, receiving a deal to release their first album and getting good reviews.

Malevolent Creation is a death metal band originally hailing from Buffalo, New York. Moving to Florida in 1988, they became a part of the emergent local death metal scene, landing a deal with Roadrunner Records. Their debut album, The Ten Commandments, became something of a landmark in the death metal underground, expanding on the early work of Slayer and fellow Floridians Death.

Atman consisted of only 2 members (Darshan – instruments, vocals, Damastor - drums), was established back in 1992 in Barcelona, Spain/Catalunia. 1996 welcomes the debut album Like Pure Unawaited Magic (recorded in 1994!). 13 years later, this is the 4th full-length of this mystical duo, bringing magickal black metal which stands far from the actual underground movements, trends. Hard to compare to other (black metal) bands, ATMAN can be best described as solid black metal with lyrics oriented to vedic philosophy & magick.
