Folkodia were formed in the Autumn of 2007. The act is manned by musicians from highly distiguinshed veterans of the metal scene. Folkodia plays viking/folk metal in the vein of Folkearth. Antarctica as country means to say there is not one country of origin, it is an international project. 12 musicians from 9 different countries (Greece, Switzerland, Lithuania, USA, France, Ireland, Argentina, England, Italy) participate in Folkodia, notably musicians from Folkearth, Cruachan, Excelsis (Che), Sunuthar, Minhyriath, Frekkr, Hildr Valkyrie, Dol Amroth, Giltine’s Gintaras, and other bands and projects.

The story began 1999, when Morior and Chimedra joined forces to bring light to the stories of old pagan past with strong melodies and raw expression, emphasizing on mood rather than technical boasting. Three demos were recorded between 2000 and 2003 with the band developing an original sound during the years. After 2003, the drummer and the keyboardist left the band causing a temporary standstill. Finally in 2007 it was decided that a new demo should be recorded. Morior, Chimedra and Turms rented a small studio that suited their needs.

Arafel (“fog” in hebrew) was created in 1997 in Tel Aviv-Israel, by former Soviet Union origin youngsters. The band started to play Black Metal, influenced by Slavonic folk music. In April 1999 Arafel recorded their four demo songs “Skazki Starogo Lesa” (“Tales of Ancient Forest”) at Delphi studio, released by the Latvian label “Beverina”. 500 copies of this demo were released and totally sold out after a short time.

Tyranny is a Finnish funeral doom metal band. As of 2006, they have released an EP entitled Bleak Vistae and an LP entitled Tides of Awakening. Like most other funeral doom metal bands, their music is very slow and dreary, reminiscent of a funeral march. Almost all of Tyranny’s songs are of epic length - well over 10 minutes each.

Autumnal was formed in 1996. Ricardo and Javier, together with the help of Andrés, created this band.
