YES, I'm back!!! :)
I've been away for waay too long, had many problems, but now I'm finally back, and I hope I'll have more time to post here then I had before. Anyway enough with me :P

Macabre is a death metal band from the USA. They were formed in 1985 in Chicago, Illinois, and have never had a line-up change (Corporate Death - guitars, vocals ; Nefarious - bass guitar, vocals ; Dennis The Menace - drums). They blend thrash metal, death metal, and grindcore (sometimes with nursery rhymes and folk melodies) to form their own unique style dubbed murder metal (this album is completely melodic death). Lyrically, they have a strong focus on serial killers, mass murderers and a touch of sick gore humor. Most lyrics are based upon true stories and are about real infamous personalities. They also have a side project called the Macabre Minstrels that play acoustic camp fire songs. Their current label is Decomposed Records.

The band formed in early 1995, with Hupogrammos (guitars/vocals/keyboards) and Negru (drums). The duo’s first demo, “From Transilvanian Forests”, was recorded at Magic Sound Studio in Bucharest, November 1995, and released at the end of the same year, under the band’s original name, Wiccan Rede. The release of this demo was preceded by the band’s first live performance, in Buzau (June 1995) and was then followed by concerts all around Romania.

At the beginning of 1999 in Chernigov, Ukraine a band Son of Earth, which played sympho/black/metal, was created. On March 7th , 1999, the group gave the first concert in the club KSK together with the following groups: “Gods Tower”, “Flying”, “Nocturnal Dominium “. Because of musical disagreements in the group in the summer of 1999 Oleg, Victor and Vlad formed a new sound-project “Spellcraft”. Alexandra Sidorenko (keys, vocal) and Jaroslav Smolko (guitar) joined the “SPELLCRAFT” later. Afterwards the name “SPELLCRAFT” was changed for “NATURAL SPIRIT”.

The story of Helheim started in 1992, when V’gandr and H’grimnir had the mutual idea of creating extreme metal music. But metal cannot be made without someone to fill the drumchair, and soon after Hrymr came along to complete the band. Already from the very beginning Helheim had high ambitions, and even without much experience they weren’t afraid to enter the stage. They played several festivals in Bergen just to get live experience from the start. In the mid of 1993 Nidhogg joined Helheim, and now they felt a demo should see the light of day. The summer went by, and in the fall the same year they released their debut demo simply entitled “Helheim”. The demo never made its way outside the borderlines of Norway as the band realized that the released material simply wasn’t good enough.

Enslaved is a metal band from Bergen, Norway. Their style has changed over the years. Originally being an old-school black metal/viking metal act, they now perform a more experimental and progressive form of black metal. The name was inspired by an Immortal demo track, Enslaved in Rot. Enslaved was formed in 1991, by Ivar Bjørnson and Grutle Kjellson. Joined by drummer Trym Torsson, they did their first demo in the summer of 1992.
